Summer Tee.
Summer Tee is a timeless, casual top with dropped shoulders and a crew neck. The top has deep, sportive armholes which size can easily be adjusted to personal wishes. The bottom of the top is knit straight down and finished by a wide i-cord edge. Optionally an elastic band can be drawn through the i-cord to casually pull up the hem to the waist for a tucked in look.

General outline.
The pattern begins with the stitches for the back of the collar. Stitches are increased on either end each row until the back panel has reached its total width. The back is worked down to the bottom of the armhole. Stitches are then parked until the front panel is knit down to the same length. Stitches for each shoulder are picked up along the shoulder seam of the back. Stitches for the front of the collar are gradually increased. Once both fronts have been knit to the same length, stitches for front of the collar are cast on and shoulders are united. The front panel is knit down to same length as back. Stitches for the armholes are increased on back and front panel. Back and front are united with some stitches cast on for the underarm. The bottom of the body is worked in the round. Purl stitches on each side create a faux seams. The hem of the body is an extra wide i-cord through which an elastic band can be drawn.
